Police responded to a burglar alarm when they encountered 45-year-old Leonard Francis Simonini. They ordered him to vacate the house, but he had other plans. He instead ignited several fireworks at the police, which lit the house on fire and killed a cat. He was eventually apprehended by the teeth of a police dog after he would not follow police demands to surrender. You can see photos of the house here.
