Colonie Man Convicted of Hit & Run Death of National Guardsman

Brian Tromans has been found guilty for his role in the hit-and-run death of National Guard Master Sargeant Rudy Seabron.

The Colonie man had been charged with leaving the scene of an accident without reporting and tampering with evidence.

Seabron was struck while walking on Watervliet Shaker Road in January.

Tromans was later accused of hiding his vehicle in an effort to hinder the police investigation. Seabron was from Central New York and in town for a military drill.
