My God, how blind could Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer be? I'm in Albany and I could see this coming from a mile away (actually from about 350 miles away). There was no way Schumer was going to get his way on DACA by trying to leverage this temporary spending bill and his government shutdown had virtually no viable exit strategy. Now his political enemies are mocking him and his would-be liberal allies (many of them anyway) and are crushing him for caving.
