State law requires assault weapon registrations be recertified every five years. The State Police have created a website for registrants to complete their recertification on-line. There is no cost to recertify. Licensees can also download a form from the website or pick up a form at any State Police station which can be filled out and mailed in. The process includes affirming that you are not prohibited from possessing firearms under state or federal law and confirming certain personal information.
