Three Injured in High Speed Rotterdam Crash

Charges are filed against a Schenectady man after three people are hospitalized in an overnight crash in Rotterdam.

Police say a care was traveling on Altamont Ave, and continued through the Curry Rd. intersection into the parking lot of Gabriel's Supermarket and right into a retaining wall.

The posted speed limit is 35 MPH, but police say the car was going almost double that.

Michael Edwards of Schenectady has been arrested and charged with DWI.

All three people in the car are reported to have critical injuries and Rotterdam police say further charges are expected.
