Above Normal Temperatures Predicted for September and October

It seems like the summer weather will continue into the beginnings of Fall.

Here in Upstate New York, September looks to be still warm, with temperatures trending above normal.

Accuweather Meteorologist Dave Samuel tells W.G.Y. there will be one change, not related to the heat trend, but a change nonetheless, when it comes to the upcoming, "September weather."

"I think we'll have a lot of high pressure overhead, so a lot of sunshine, not as much rainfall; we've had a lot of heavy thunderstorms over the summer months, I don't think we'll have that as much..."

Samuel also predicts the first half of October to be a little warmer than normal as well, though nights will be traditionally cooler.
