Gloversville's Mayor in trouble with the law. 40-year-old Dayton King was arrested by State Police for falsifying business records, official misconduct and petit larceny.
State Police say that King had been illegally using the city of Gloversville postage meter located in city hall, and he falsified the ledger that goes with the postage meter.
This isn't King's first brush with the law.
A couple of months ago, he pleaded guilty to second degree harassment as part of a plea deal.
That plea came from the 2017 Mayoral Debate where prosecutors said that King violated the rights of his opponent Bill Rowback, by allegedly using personal information from Rowback's time as a firefighter.
