A new drug called "Grey Death" might be to blame for the death of an inmate at Albany County Correctional Facility on Saturday.  Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple releasing a statement saying a dark gray powder was found concealed in a sock worn by Shane Lemperle.  The man was found unresponsive in his cell and was later pronounced dead by Colonie EMS.   Field testing on the powder returned positive results for heroin and fentanyl.  Grey Death has been implicated in a handful of deaths in the south but it has not yet been seen by Capital Region investigators.  The substance will be submitted to the State Police Lab for additional testing.
