Wheelchair stolen from 11 year old Albany girl, shooting victim

A brave Albany girl is missing her wheelchair after it was stolen from in front of her South Ferry Street home on Thursday morning. Phiona Williams moved to Albany after being shot multiple times in a murder suicide that claimed the lives of her mother and uncle in Georgia last September. The wheelchair is essential in assisting the 11 year old to navigate the hallways at Kipp Tech Valley Charter School. A GoFundMe page has been organized to replace her chair. Anyone with information is asked to call Albany Police at 518-462-8039 or provide an anonymous tip through www.captialregioncrimestoppers.com
