16 States Sue Trump Administration Over National Emergency Declaration

The Democratic Attorneys General from 16 states are suing the Trump administration over the president's declaration of a national emergency on the southern border.

President Trump announced the emergency last week, saying it's necessary to build a wall to stop drug and human trafficking into the United States. The President said it's necessary to build a wall to stop drug and human trafficking into the U.S.

The California Attorney General says the emergency declaration is a presidential overreach.
