Travel may be difficult in the northern part of the Capital Region where a Winter storm warning will be in effect from 1:00pm Monday until noon Tuesday. A winter storm advisory also goes into effect for Montgomery, Fulton, Schoharie, Southern Washington, Northern Saratoga, and Southern Warren Counties at 1:00pm Monday.
The immediate Capital Region can expect rain Monday afternoon and evening before the precipitation turns to snow after midnight, where we'll accumulate anywhere from 1 to 4 inches by Tuesday morning. Sleet is also a possibility in the early morning hours Tuesday.

Tonight: rain early changing to snow after midnight. Snow will accumulate 2-4 inches into tomorrow morning with untreated surfaces becoming slippery. Low tonight near 30.
