A fire in Latham has claimed the life of one person. Deputy Fire Coordinator Michael Romano says clutter throughout the home at 43 Grandview made fighting the fire challenging. Once the fire was knocked down, the deceased individual was located inside. An investigation into the cause is underway and the name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
