Two overnight incidents keep Troy Police busy

Two incidents in two hours overnight kept police in Troy busy. A 30 year old man was stabbed at about 1:30 this morning on Cypress Street. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital for stab wounds to his torso which are not life threatening. 22 year old Selina Riebeling of Troy was arraigned in Troy City Court this morning on charges of Assault and Criminal Possession of a weapon. Later this morning, Police responded to Congress Street near 4th Street for what they are calling a "weapons related incident". A 36 year old ride share driver told police that he observed two other vehicles driving recklessly just before 3 o'clock this morning. When the cars stopped abruptly, a male exited one of the vehicles and displayed a hand gun. Police say the suspect did not attempt to rob the driver. Troy police say the vehicles are both white sedans and they are continuing their investigation.
