Effective Monday, the Schenectady City School District will be closed for at least one week. This closure is in anticipation of the City of Schenectady declaring a limited state of emergency. The district is taking measures to ensure students receive instruction while they are at home and breakfast and lunch will be provided to students even while school is closed.
Designated pick-up locations and times for meals have been established by the district.

Shenendehowa School District will also be canceling classes March 16 through the 20th out of an abundance of caution.
