The Schenectady County Health Department is warning about a possible exposure to coronavirus on the CDTA.

Health officials say someone who rode bus number 370 last Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13th at 7:05am has coronavirus.

Anyone who was on the bus at that time should self monitor for symptoms for the next two weeks and get tested for COVID-19.

Free testing in Schenectady County is available in August on Mondays from 10am to 2pm at Bridge Community Center, and also on Thursdays from 2-6pm at Schenectady Islamic Center Parking Lot.

This news comes as the CDTA is getting set to return to collect fares from people starting on Wednesday, and allowing people to get on the bus through the front door.

The CDTA has not collected fares since early April when passengers were only allowed to get on the bus through the back door as part of company's plans during the pandemic.
