Election Day is just six weeks away, and Governor Cuomo says New Yorkers may see members of the National Guard at their polling location. The governor says such a move would be made to ensure the voting process goes smoothly.

He also announced yesterday that local and state government employees could be called into action to serve as poll workers. Anyone who is chosen for that duty would likely receive overtime or another day off.
