Troy Police take another gun off the streets in the city.
Police say two officers heard what they believed to be a gunshot early Thursday morning on Glen Ave. Police say they then found a suspicious vehicle in the area.
After further investigation, police arrested 26 year old Damien McCaskey.
Police discovered he had an illegal and loaded handgun.
Troy Police say that's the 57th firearm that's been confiscated this year.
