Albany police say they've made multiple arrests following the latest string of gun violence there.

Chief Eric Hawkins says two of the people taken into custody were teenagers and five handguns are now off the streets. Several people were shot on Sunday and Monday and one of the victims was a 15-year-old boy. More arrests are expected to be made soon but in the meantime anyone with information on these cases is asked to call police.
