It's more bad news for area hockey fans .
The Adirondack Thunder and five other teams in the North Division in the East Coast Hockey League, have decided to opt out of the 2020-2021 season. The Thunder and eleven other East Coast Hockey League teams had initially planned to start the season on January 15th. Earlier this week, the Division 1 hockey programs at RPI and Union decided to shut down their programs this season because of COVID-19 concerns.
