Washington County deputies say speed and alcohol don't appear to be factors in a serious crash in Whitehall.
They say 27-year-old Ryan Hoskins was on Upper Turnpike Road Sunday when he tried to avoid hitting a deer. His truck ended up hitting a tree and the damage to the vehicle was so severe Hoskins had to be extricated by emergency crews. He was taken to Albany Med to be treated for several broken bones.
