The number of Albany County residents hospitalized for treatment of COVID-19 has hit another record.

Officials said Sunday 67 people are now receiving treatment, breaking the previous mark of 45 on November 20th. The number of infected individuals also grew by 90 while a man in his 90s is the 158th person to pass away due to coronavirus. The county health commissioner says she's concerned about the stress being put on hospitals as they care for a growing number of patients.
