Man Who Hit Albany Police Officer With Brick Facing Prison Time

The man who threw a brick at a member of the Albany Police Department will be spending some time in prison.

Tuesday, 21-year-old James Vail pleaded guilty to assault for tossing the projectile after a Black Lives Matter rally in May. The brick ended up hitting an officer in the head, causing a concussion and neck injury. Vail will officially be sentenced in January.
