The devastating effects of the COVID-19 crisis are continuing to be felt in Albany County.
This month alone, 58 people have passed away due to the illness, breaking the previous record of 55 set back in May. The overall death toll during the last few months is now at 218. The number of people hospitalized due to the disease has also gone up by 15 to 129, which is the highest total to date.
