Saratoga County is reeling from its largest increase in the number of deaths since the start of the coronavirus crisis.
Health officials say 17 more people have recently passed away, bringing to the total over the last several months to 53. The spike is being attributed to deaths at nursing homes that previously hadn't been reported. It was also announced Tuesday the Saratoga Springs City Center will soon be serving as a mass vaccination site for people eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine.
