Union Students Quarantining on Campus Due to High Number of COVID-19 Cases

Students at Union College in Schenectady are going to spend the next couple of weeks quarantining on campus.

University officials say the decision was made due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases on campus. So far, there have been more infections since students returned to class earlier this month than there were during the entire Fall semester. The quarantine will remain in effect until January 31st, however in-person classes can still be taught until the order is lifted.
