Governor Cuomo is making a dire prediction about the future spread of COVID-19 in the United States.
He believes it's only a matter of time before a newer, more lethal strain of the illness arrives that current vaccines won't work on. The governor pointed out that the flu mutates every year and that scientists may be called on to create a new vaccine quickly. He also says that more contagious variants of the virus have already been discovered in Brazil, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
