Crews will be out on the New York State Thruway this week to continue the process of removing toll booths.

In the Capital Region, that means booths at Exit B2, Exit 23 and Exit 25A are going to be taken down. The booths are no longer needed since the Thruway has switched to a cashless tolling system. Drivers who travel near these exits are being asked to keep an eye out for road crews and to lower their speed in construction zones to 20-miles-per hour.
