Starting Friday, most restaurant owners in the Empire State are going to be able to generate some additional revenue.

That's because eateries outside of New York City can now operate at 75 % capacity, however tables must still be spread apart. The number of customers at restaurants has been limited for months in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. If the statewide coronavirus infection rate continues to fall, health officials say businesses will soon be able to have even more customers.
