New York State has expanded the list of people who can get their COVID-19 vaccination at pharmacies.

Now, pharmacies can distribute those shots to people with underlying medical conditions. Previously, pharmacies could only provide immunizations to folks over the age of 60, childcare workers and school employees. Health officials say while progress being made in slowing the spread of COVID-19, people still need to follow the proper protocols to limit their exposure to the illness.
