New York Lifts Curfew On Gyms, Movie Theaters & Other Businesses

It's a very big day for businesses such as casinos, movie theaters, gyms and bowling alleys statewide. That's because they no longer have to follow an 11:00pm curfew the state put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However,, catered events like weddings and parties must end by midnight.

Restaurants and bars still have to follow rules they've been dealing with for months, but a decision on when those establishments could be allowed to remain open longer is expected in a few weeks.
