The murder case against Johnstown sub shop owner Georgios Kakavelos is expected to be in the jury's hands this week.

Prosecutors say he killed 22-year-old Allyzibeth Lamont because she was planning to file a labor complaint against him for unpaid overtime. They also allege Kakavelos offered James Duffy money to beat Lamont to death and that Kakavelos also joined the assault. Both men then dumped Lamont's body near the Northway in Malta. If convicted, Kakavelos could spend the rest of his life in prison.
