Landmarks across New York State will be lit in rainbow colors this weekend in celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month.

In the Capital Region, the H. Carl McCall SUNY Building, Albany International Gateway, Alfred E. Smith State Office Building and State Education Building will be decorated in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Marriage Equality Law in New York. Governor Cuomo says the Empire State was the birthplace of the LGBTQ rights movement beginning with the Stonewall riots.
