Starting Tuesday, the Schenectady County Department of Motor Vehicles will be open to walk-in appointments two days a week.
That means on Tuesdays and Thursdays, anyone who needs to visit the office located on State Street in Schenectady between eight a-m and three p-m won't need to schedule in advance. However, appointments will still be required on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The DMV will also continue to require dealers use the drop box outside of the building for transactions.
