Schenectady Police Make Arrest in Connection With Trustco Bank Robbery

Schenectady police say the person responsible for a recent robbery at a Trustco Bank is facing charges.

According to investigators, 39-year-old Jeffery Philpot Junior was the man who held up the Union Street bank on May 17th. Philpot reportedly admitted to telling an employee that he had a weapon before leaving the bank with over four-thousand dollars in cash. Police were able to identify him as the suspect using surveillance video and a fingerprint on the note he gave a teller.
