The horse that won this year's Belmont Stakes is going to try and add another prestigious race to his resume.
Essential Quality is projected to be the favorite for Saturday's running of the Jim Dandy Stakes, which has been run at the Spa for decades. Also on Saturday's card are both the Bowling Green Handicap and Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap. There will also be a fundraiser held for the Permanently Disabled Jockey's Fund.
