A top aide to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he won't run for public office again.

Cuomo formally resigned at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday morning, three weeks after a state attorney general's investigation concluded he sexually harassed eleven women during his three terms. Cuomo was defiant in a pre-recorded farewell address, highlighting his accomplishments and saying he was the victim of a "political firecracker" that blew up his career. Former Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul succeeded Cuomo to become New York's first woman governor.
