Tennis fans are not being required to wear masks at the US Open in Queens.

Tennis officials are releasing coronavirus related protocols for fans for the US Open which gets underway next week. There will be full fan capacity at the tennis complex unlike last year where no fans were allowed. Officials say those who are unvaccinated are being encouraged to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines but there are no mask requirements. Fans will not be required show proof of vaccination either. Players will get tested regularly and a positive test will force them to withdraw from the tournament.
