A former Rensselaer County resident is tied to a cold-case murder in California.
Dennis LePage was sentenced in a San Diego courtroom Tuesday to at least six years in prison. He admitted to strangling Alvaro Marquez Espeleta to death back in 1975 while the two were serving in the Navy together. Fingerprints led to his arrest in Troy in January 2020.
