A Schenectady man has pleaded guilty in connection with a homicide in Pittstown that happened earlier this year.

On Wednesday, 19-year-old Devin Van Patten was in Rensselaer County Court where he confessed to being involved in the murder of Nathan Miller at his Jay Herrington Road home June 9th. Van Patten admitted to struggling with the victim before gunfire erupted and Miller was killed. As part of his plea deal, Van Patten will testify against two other accomplices and spend 20 years in prison. State Police say the three men and Miller knew each other but haven't said what the nature of that relationship was.
