New York State is offering an incentive for parents to get their young children vaccinated against COVID-19.

Governor Hochul said Tuesday that over the next few weeks, 50 full SUNY and CUNY scholarships will be raffled off to kids between the ages of five and 11-years-old who get immunized. The scholarships will cover tuition, fees, expenses, and room and board at two-year and four-year schools. The governor says it's important for kids to get vaccinated because it can help protect them and their family members from COVID-19.
