Opening Day at West Mountain Pushed Back Due to Warm Weather

Officials at West Mountain in Queensbury say skiers are going have to wait just a bit longer to hit the slopes this season.

Opening day was scheduled to be this coming Saturday, but instead it's been switched to next Friday, December 24th from 8:30 am until 6:00 pm. The reason for the delay is due to unseasonably warm temperatures. Gore Mountain in North Creek, Mount Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid, and Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington all opened for the season November 26th.
