State Police say a Schenectady woman was involved in a crash in Central New York that left one person dead.

According to Troopers, 72-year-old Susan Caulfield was traveling the wrong way in Rome on Sunday when her SUV hit a car driven by 55-year-old Kelly Larrivey head-on. A passenger in Larrivey's vehicle, 88-year-old Marjorie Larrivey, died after being rushed to a nearby hospital. No other serious injuries were reported. Police say Caulfield wasn't under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that their investigation into the accident is continuing.
