Members of the Niskayuna Board of Education are set to officially appoint the district's brand-new superintendent Tuesday night.

Carl Mummenthey is in line to replace ex-superintendent Cosimo Tangorra, who stepped down back in October to take a job in Oneida County. Mummenthey is currently serving as the superintendent of the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District and if approved, would start his new position in Niskayuna July 1st. Tuesday night's board meeting gets underway at 6:00 pm and will be streamed online.
