Governor Hochul has announced the groundbreaking for a new Plug Power facility in Albany County.
The 350,000 square foot building will be located in the Vista Technology Campus located in Slingerlands. Plug Power is promising to create over 1,600 new jobs which will help support the company's push to expand its line of GenDrive fuel cell systems. CEO Andy Marsh says Plug Power is proud to expand in Albany County which is where the company was founded 25 years ago.
