The UAlbany women's basketball team will be back on the court Friday night as they kick off their run in the NCAA Division One women's hoops tournament.
The 16th seeded Great Danes are taking on the number one seed Louisville Cardinals at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville. UAlbany is making its first tournament appearance since 2017 and will look to become only the second 16 seed to defeat a one seed in the tournament's history. Tip-off for Friday night's contest is set for 6:00 pm.
