St. Peter's Hospital Putting Visitation Restrictions Back in Place

Starting Monday, visitation restrictions are going to be back in place at Saint Peter's Hospital.

Officials say the decision is being made due to a rising number of COVID-19 cases in the area. The new rules, which will also be in effect at the Albany Memorial Samaritan campus and Samaritan and Sunnyview Rehabilitation hospitals, mean patients can have one visitor per day while people being treated for the coronavirus will be allowed one visitor per day for just an hour. Anyone who visits is encouraged to be vaccinated against the virus and wear a mask.
