A new masking policy is now in place for people who visit any of the Albany Public Library's seven branches.

Anyone who is over the age of two is now required to have a facial covering on while inside the building regardless of their vaccination status. Officials say they're following a recommendation from the Albany County Department of Health that masks be worn indoors to try and slow the spread of COVID-19. Anyone who doesn't bring a mask with them will be provided one free of charge.
