New York state and congressional primaries are being pushed back. A judge delayed the primaries until August 23rd. It happened after the state's highest court tossed the new congressional and senate maps that were widely seen as favoring Democrats. The new maps should be finished by May 20th.

The judge also added the state will decide if they're going to push the other primaries, including the races for governor and state assembly, to August or if they'll keep them on June 28th.
