Troy Man Pleads Not Guilty in Connection With Albany Woman's Murder

A Troy man has pleaded not guilty after being arraigned in connection with the murder of an Albany woman last month.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Tyshaun Purvis is responsible for the shooting death of 27-year-old Dominique Eley in the area of North Pearl Street on July 3rd. Purvis is facing multiple charges and could be sentenced to decades in prison if convicted. He remains in custody at the Albany County Jail and is due back in court again September 16th.
