Drive-By Shooting in Front of LI Congressman's Home

Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin says the Sunday afternoon shooting in front of his Shirley home that left two teenagers injured was not connected to him.

The Republican who is also running for governor says his 16-year-old daughters were home alone doing homework when gunshots rang out. The two 17-year-old victims were found under Zeldin's porch and in a bush on his property and Suffolk Police believe they were shot in a drive by shooting. Zeldin is a lifelong Shirley resident and says no part of New York is immune to crimes but adds he didn't expect the next crime scene he'd visit to be at his own home.
